Remove The White Patches On Your Skin – Medical Name “Vitiligo”

Many people are dealing with white patches on their skin and this condition is known as vitiligo. Even though the real reason of vitiligo is not yet discovered, experts believe that the main reason of its occurance is automotive disorder where the immune system attacks the melanin-producing cells. There are other reasons as well such as excessive stress, vitamin B12 deficiency, eczema, psoriasis, overexposure to sunrays, superficial fungal infections and genetic predisposition.

Luckily, there are some natural remedies that can help people improve their skin condition. Make sure to consult a specialist before you apply some of the following remedies:

  • Ginkgo Bilboa:
The consumption of Ginkgo Bilboa can reduce the progress of this disease and induce repigmentation since it has antioxidant and immunomodulatory properties. You should take 40-80 mg three times a day, but consult your doctor to determine the dosage.
  • Apple cider vinegar:
ACV has powerful properties which destroy the fungi that cause the white patches and it helps in low stomach acid that is linked with the occurance of vitiligo. All you have to do is to make a combination of ACV and water and apply it on the affected areas 2 times per day for a month. You can also drink one glass of water with 1 tbsp of ACV on a daily basis before your meals. Another important thing you should know is that berries work like a natural depigmentation, so eliminate them from your diet. Instead, include more foods rich in vitamin B12 like: spinach, cabbage, dried beans, dried figs, walnuts, chickpeas, and also foods rich in folic acid and zinc.
  • Ginger:
Ginger is beneficial for many health conditions, so vitiligo is not an exception because it improves blood circulation and helps with melanin production. All you have to do is to cut a couple of slices of fresh ginger and apply your skin leaving it until it dries. Make sure to repeat the treatment at lest 2 times per day for a couple of weeks. Another solution is to extract the juice from a bigger ginger root and mix it with fresh mint leaves drinking it on a dailt basis for several weeks.
  • Copper:
Copper is an excellent solution since it has the ability to produce melanin. The process is very simple, you just have to pour water in a copper vessel and let it stay overnight at a room temperature. In the morning, drink it on an empty stomach. The vessel will release copper ions which aid in the production of melanin.
  •  Coconut oil:
Coconut oil is another great solution because it promotes repigmentation of the skin as it soothes and heals chronic inflammation. Moreover, it also has potent antifungal and antibacterial properties. Just apply some coconut oil on the white patches 2-3 times per day and repeat the treatment for several weeks.
  • Turmeric:
In order to treat vitiligo with turmeric, you have to mix 5 tsp of it with 250 ml/1 cups of mustard oil and apply it on the discolored area. Repeat this treatment 2 times a day for a whole year. Another solution is to prepare a paste with turmeric powder and neem leaves and apply it on the white patches.
  • Neem:
works as an immune booster and blood cleaner when consumed. However, you can also make a paste, all you have to do is to mix crushed neem leaves and add buttermilk. Once prepared, apply the solution on the affected skin areas and leave it until it dries. In the end, wash it off and repeat the method for several weeks.
  • Babchi/Psoralea cory-li-folia:
pour some ginger juice and soak the seeds in it for three days, replacing the juice every day. Rube them between your hands in order to remove the husk, dry then in the sun and then grind them in powder. Every day, drink a glass of milk with 1 gr of this powder added in it. Drink this mixture for 40 days.
  • Red clay:
the consumption of red clay can help you restore skin pigment since it contains a lot of copper. Just mix ginger juicer and red clay in equal ration and then apply it on the white patches. Allow the mixture to dry and then rinse it off. Repeat this treatment for several months.
  • Radish seeds:
All you have to do is to grind 25 grams of the seeds and mix them with 2 tsp of ACV in order to prepare a paste. After that, just apply the paste on the white patches and leave it to stand for half an hour. In the end, rinse with lukewarm water. Repeat this every day for a few months.
