How to Get Rid of a Double Chin

Do each of the following chin exercises 5-7 times per day

1. Warm-up:
  • Easy move the chin forward & backward.

2. “Spade” – an exercise to strengthen the muscles of the chin:

  • Open your mouth wide.
  • Bend the lower lip inside.
  • Close your mouth pulling the lower jaw forward (as if you try to scoop the water.

3. Relax muscles:
  • Easy move the jaw up and down.
  • Do this after each exercise.
4. Kiss of the ceiling an exercise for strengthening the muscles of the neck:
  • Lift the face up and look at the ceiling.
  • Blow the kiss towards the ceiling.
5. Touch the nose:
  • Stick out your tongue.
  • Try to reach the nose by tongue tip.
6. Resistance:
  • Put your elbows on the table.
  • Put the chin on your fists.
  • Push your chin against the fists, trying to overcome the resistance.
7. The “Triangle of Youth” – an exercise for the perfect oval face:
  • Turn your head to the left.
  • Pull the lower jaw forward straining muscles of the neck.
  • Turn your head to the right.
  • Do the same to the other side.

5 Yoga poses for better sleep

It's not easy to sleep with hectic mind after a busy day. A whole day working man/woman deserves a relaxing sleep. After a long day of work when you came home and want to sleep but your brain doesn't feel as fresh to fall asleep. The solution to this problem is yoga which helps you to sleep well. As you sleep more you will feel fresh the next day. Here are some yoga steps which will easily fall your sleep.





1. CAT/COW
Stretches and strengthens the spine and neck. Invites an emotional balance, relieves stress and calms the central nervous system.
 Do it: Come to all fours. Spread your fingers wide and make sure your hands are under your shoulders and your knees are under your hips. Inhale, tuck your tailbone, round your back, and look toward your belly. Exhale, drop your belly, arch your lower back, and look up.

2. CHILD’S POSE
Take a few moments to settle the body and deepen the breath. This slows the heart rate and prepares the body for rest.
 Do it: Kneel and sit back on your heels. Extend your torso over your legs and rest forehead on the floor. Relax neck and shoulders.

3. PLOW POSE
A gentle inversion that promotes good circulation. Increases blood flow to the brain which may help clear the mind of the day’s anxieties.
 Do it: Lie on your back, arms at sides, and legs straight up, so your body forms a 90-degree angle. Squeeze your abs, keep your knees straight, and bring your legs back overhead. Try to touch the floor with your toes. Keep your chin away from your chest, and breathe freely. Hold for 1 minute.

4. RECLINED SPINAL TWIST (RIGHT AND LEFT)
Lengthens, relaxes and realigns the spine for more comfortable sleeping.
Do it: Lie on your back with legs extended and arms outstretched at a 90-degree angle from sides, palms facing up. Draw one knee up until foot rests flat on the floor beside opposite knee. Keeping both shoulders on the floor, hook foot behind the opposite knee and slowly turn, lowering bent knee as close to the floor as possible.
Breathe and relax into the pose for 30 seconds, then repeat on the other side.

5. SAVASANA
Ultimate release and relaxation. Practice this on your yoga mat, outside of your bed for 3 to 5 minutes. Maybe use a calming song as a timer. Once the song finishes, maintain an easy calm, find your way to bed and hit the hay.
Do it: Lie on your back on the sand with your legs slightly apart and your arms at your sides, about a foot away from your body, palms up. Imagine every part of your body sinking into warm, soft sand.

Then press this point for at least 2 minutes twice a day.

2. Abdominal sorrow point:

Right in line with the ear lobe near the end of the ribcage, you will find the abdominal sorrow point. Usually located under the last rib, this pressure point relieves you from any kind of indigestion, ulcers, rib pain and appetite imbalances. Curve your fingers and press this point for 5 minutes every day.

3. Ear point:

The pressure point located in your ear helps to control appetite. You need to place your finger against the jaw and move your jaw up and down. Find the point that has most of the movement in your jaw and presses it for a minute.



4. Elbow point:

The large intestine point is found on the inner side of the elbow crease. It is located to the end. This point stimulates the function of the intestine by removing excess heat and unwanted moisture from the body. Press this point for a minute every day to see the results. Use your thumb to apply enough pressure on this point.

5. Ankle point:

This pressure point works well for the spleen. It helps to strengthen your digestive system. The pressure point is found on the inner side of the leg 2 inches above your ankle, it is just off the bone. Press this regularly for the better functioning of the digestive system. Apply pressure for a minute with your thumb or knuckle and release slowly.

6. Knee Point:

This pressure point helps the stomach to function properly, by improving the digestion and nourishing the blood. It is found 2 inches below the knee cap on the outer side of the leg. Apply pressure on this point for one minute with your forefinger. When you flex your foot up and down you can feel the muscle move under your finger. This is the right spot; press this point for 2 minutes every day to notice the change in your body.

By using the above techniques, one can release the flow of energy through all the organs. Especially affecting the functions of spleen meridians and the stomach.
